How to reach a person, and the answers to the questions that come up most.
Email support@subexit.app and a person reads it. We aim to reply within two working days.
It helps to say which phone you are using, the version shown at the bottom of the Settings screen, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
Reminders are scheduled by your phone rather than by a server, so they depend on the phone as much as on the app. The first thing to check is that notifications are still allowed for SubExit in your phone settings.
Inside the app, the Notifications and Default reminder timing rows under Settings control which reminders are sent and how many days before a renewal they arrive.
A reminder is also only as good as the date it was given. If a renewal date was typed wrongly, or a subscription is no longer marked active, nothing is due.
Some phones delay notifications to save battery. If reminders arrive late rather than not at all, that is usually why, and your phone settings are where it is turned off.
Pro belongs to the App Store or Google Play account you bought it with, not to your SubExit account. Signing in to SubExit on a new phone does not carry it across on its own.
Open the upgrade screen while signed in to the same store account and tap Restore purchase.
Apple and Google take the payment, so a refund is theirs to give under their own policies. We have no way to issue one, however much we might want to.
For an App Store purchase, start at reportaproblem.apple.com. For a Google Play purchase, start at play.google.com/store/account.
Settings → Base currency sets the currency your totals are shown in, and Settings → Exchange rates shows the rates being used.
Conversion uses published rates and is approximate. It will not match your bank to the last decimal place, and it is not meant to: the totals are there to show you the size of the thing, not to reconcile a statement.
Settings → Export CSV writes a file of your subscriptions that is yours to keep, and opens in any spreadsheet.
Settings → Delete all subscriptions clears everything SubExit holds on the device.
Deleting your account removes the synced copy as well. The Delete your account page sets out exactly what goes and how long it takes, and you do not need the app installed to read it.
If you think you have found a security problem, please email help@subexit.app rather than posting it publicly, and give us a chance to fix it first.
