How to delete a SubExit account and everything in it, and exactly what that removes.
You can delete your SubExit account and everything in it at any time, and you do not need to ask us to do it.
SubExit is made by MADASU Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16607990), of Office 13463, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London E6 2JA, United Kingdom.
Open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. It takes effect immediately.
This is the fastest route and it is the one we recommend, because it needs no identity check: you are already signed in.
If you can no longer sign in, email help@subexit.app from the address the account was created with and ask us to delete it.
We will confirm when it is done. If you write from a different address we will have to ask you something only the account holder would know, because deleting somebody else's account on request would be a worse failure than a slow one.
Your email address, your display name and your date of birth if you provided one.
Every subscription you saved: names, prices, renewal dates, the reason you subscribed, your notes, your cancellation notes and your decision history.
Your categories, your payment method labels and your reminder settings.
Backups are cycled out within 30 days, after which no copy remains.
Anything held on your own device. Deleting the account removes the synced copy; deleting the app removes the local one. Do both if you want everything gone.
Your purchase record at Apple or Google. We do not hold it and cannot delete it. Manage a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and note that deleting a SubExit account does not cancel a paid plan.
Anything we are required to keep by law, which for SubExit means nothing beyond the above: we hold no financial records about you, because we never process a payment.
You do not have to delete the account to clear it. Settings, then Delete all subscriptions, removes everything you entered and leaves the account in place.
Settings, then Backup and export, gives you a CSV of your subscriptions first, if you would rather keep a copy.
